Our Funding Partners
Our Funding Partners are organizations that address social needs in the areas of mental health, integrative medicine, cultural/spiritual enrichment and philanthropic education – Our sincerest thanks to Armstrong McDonald Foundation, The Lovell Foundation and Nordstrom for generously supporting SAAF programs.
Armstrong McDonald Foundation
The mission of the Armstrong McDonald Foundation is to continue the philanthropic ideals and goals of James M. McDonald, Sr. through prudent and impartial review of all qualifying grant requests received annually to insure that awards are made to soundly conceived and operated non-profit organizations.
Armstrong McDonald Foundation makes a significant contribution to the quality of life for the people SAAF serves. Participants report relief from pain, restful sleep, increased energy, better immune function and fewer opportunistic infections. Better health provides many clients renewed hope and a brighter outlook on life.
The Lovell Foundation
The Lovell Foundation grew from the passions and life experiences of founders David and Lura Lovell. Together they dealt with monumental challenges and opportunities – by connecting with others, crusading for change, creating success and experiencing peace and joy.
Established in 1994, this family foundation continues to embrace causes close to their hearts. In its first 20 years, the foundation invested $11 million in 60 nonprofit organizations for local and national projects supporting people and programs that empower lives, provide opportunities, improve conditions and advance community. Today the foundation is propelled by the passions of the second and third generations of the Lovell family.
The Lovell Foundation provided support for SAAF’s Buyers’ Club website development program as well as products and nutritional supplements.
Nordstrom
At Nordstrom, we believe one of our most important responsibilities is to support the people who support us. We’re working hard to give back to the diverse communities where we live and work. That includes striving to create a workplace where our customers, employees and vendor partners feel welcome, respected and appreciated.
Nordstrom provided support for SAAF’s Complementary Therapies Program, providing visits with a naturopathic physician to create an individual health plan that could include body work such as massage and chiropractic, as well as nutritional supplements.
